Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression.
• Greeting Guests warmly, seating them, and ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff.
• Coordinating the wait and seating Guests with a sense of urgency.
• Engaging with Guests through genuine conversations.
• Having a general knowledge of the menu to recommend and upsell.
• Answering phones promptly and professionally.
• Assisting throughout the restaurant (bussing tables, delivering food and drinks, helping guests).
• Leading the lobby experience according to Outback standards.
• Maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs. and work in hot/cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods.
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California positions (can be completed during training or within 60 days).
