The Role

Responsible for greeting and seating restaurant guests and processing sales transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests according to their preferences, availability, and rotation guidelines.
• Manage customer flow and seating distribution following management instructions and maintaining fairness.
• Provide menus, inform guests of specials and featured items.
• Coordinate with food servers, bus persons, and other staff to ensure quality guest service.
• Operate electronic cash register to process payments accurately and handle cash securely.
• Keep the host area stocked with necessary supplies.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for consistency.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Answer phones and take to-go orders.
• Adhere to the Thoughtful Service Model at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
