Job summary

Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa in Frisco, TX, is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests and seat them with warmth and efficiency.

You will manage dining room flow, answer reservations by phone, assist servers, and ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior host experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lift/carry up to 10 lbs without assistance.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Unexpired Food Handlers certification or obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests entering the restaurant with warmth and courtesy.
• Seat guests at clean, available tables and present menus.
• Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Manage restaurant flow during busy periods outside the dining room.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating, service, safety and guest wellbeing.
• Assist servers when needed to ensure smooth service.
• Thank guests on departure and invite them to return.

This position will ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest.
• Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Control high volume outside of restaurant.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and wellbeing of guests.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior host experience preferred.
• Must be able to multi task.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
• Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers – or obtain upon hire.
