Job summary

Great Lakes Brewing Co is seeking a friendly part-time seasonal host/hostess for Ohio City, Cleveland, from October 2026 through December 2026. You will greet guests, seat them, and communicate wait times accurately while managing special needs and ensuring a smooth dining flow.

You will use the Resy OS app to quote times and manage waitlists, bus tables, assist servers, and keep dining areas clean. Physical duties include standing for up to four hours, lifting up to 15 pounds, stairs, and daily

Qualifications

• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Able to stand and move for up to four hours.
• Clear verbal communication and attentive listening.
• Reading and writing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests enthusiastically and accommodate special needs.
• Accurately quote wait times for guests using simple math.
• Operate the Resy OS application to assist with quote times and waitlist management.
• Bus tables and assist servers to ensure smooth guest service.
• Maintain overall restroom cleanliness on a routine basis.
• Participate in rolling silverware and keep work area clean and organized.
• Check outside area for trash and assist with general cleaning duties.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties and other tasks as needed.

Job Location: Ohio City - Cleveland, OH, Salary Range: $16.50 - $16.50, Essential Functions and Duties

This is a part-time/seasonal position for the months of October2026 through December2026

• Enthusiastically greets and seats the guest and accommodates any special needs, i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities.
• Quotes accurate wait times for guests utilizing simple math.
• Operates the Resy OSapplication to assist with quote times and waitlist management
• Busses tables and provides guest assistance to servers.
• Checks the overall cleanliness of the restrooms on a routine basis.
• Participates in rolling silverware.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Checks outside area for trash.
• Completes assigned cleaning duties.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications

• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off of the floor, and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
• Transports and carries objects (such as high chair) up to 15 pounds up to 15 times a shift.
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for period up to four (4) hours in length.
• Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other Team Members.
• Must be able to climb stairs throughout a shift.
