Who We Need

We’re seeking a confident and enthusiastic Host to be one of the first friendly faces our guests interact with. In this role, you’ll ensure that guests receive a polished and warm welcome, setting the tone for the evening ahead. From greeting and seating, to managing reservations and coordinating with the service team, you will help uphold the refined yet inviting spirit that defines our flagship property.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and Seat Guests: Offer a warm, courteous welcome and efficiently guide guests to their tables, balancing the smooth flow of our dining room.
• Manage Reservations, Waitlists, and Guest Expectations: Coordinate bookings through our reservation platform. Provide clear, accurate wait times for walk-ins and maintain open communication so guests feel informed.
• Liaise with the Team: Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and the kitchen to keep service running seamlessly, especially during peak hours or special events.
• Maintain a Tidy & Elegant Front-of-House: Ensure that the host stand, entryway, and waiting areas reflect the elevated aesthetic of Olive + Oak, keeping them immaculate and inviting.
• Support Service as Needed: Step in to assist with light tasks—such as confirming table readiness or providing service updates—when the dining room is bustling.
