DineAmic Hospitality is seeking Hosts who will ensure that our guests have an extraordinary dining experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. As the first point of contact for our patrons, Hosts represent the excellent service, high standards, and overall hospitality of the staff of the restaurant. Candidates should have the ability to multi-task efficiently and maintain a positive and professional approach with team members and guests. This role is a great way to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and gain experience and working knowledge needed for future opportunities.

What You Will Do

1. Warmly greet guests with eye contact and a smile, inform them of wait times and seating options in a pleasant manner, and confidently escort them to their table.
2. Provide direction and resolution to all patron inquiries; answer and make telephone calls per company standards and guidelines.
3. Become well-versed in our menu items to answer questions and make recommendations with a personal touch.
4. Maintain the appearance of the entryway and coat check area, ensuring it is presentable, clean, and organized.
5. Assist with delivery and takeout orders.
6. Clean, organize, and stock menus at the host area.
7. Create a lasting, positive impression by bidding guests a fond farewell and inviting them to return.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What You Need To Have

1. At least 1 year of experience as a host or similar role; experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant required.
2. Working knowledge of booking systems; experience with OpenTable required.
3. Ability to engage in pleasant, unscripted conversations with guests.
4. Ability to maintain composure during high-stress and high-volume periods.
5. Accuracy and speed in completing tasks.
6. A passion for quality and respect for team members and guests.
7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
8. Physical ability to move, bend, lift, and carry objects up to 25 pounds; stand or walk for extended periods.
9. Food Handlers Certification required.
