Job summary

Thompson Hospitality Corp. is seeking a Host/Hostess to welcome guests at Matchbox and ensure an exceptional first impression from arrival.

You will manage a busy waitlist, provide menu information, and coordinate with servers and the kitchen to keep service running smoothly in a vibrant dining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in high volume, upscale casual dining or equivalent service environment preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts including weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (menus, high chairs, booster seats).
• Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
• Clear verbal communication and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
