Job summary

The Hurrdat Sports Bar & Grill is seeking a friendly, energetic Host to greet guests, seat them, and manage reservations in a fast-paced sports bar setting. You will answer menu questions and guide guests to the best seating choices, while collaborating with servers and staff to ensure a smooth experience.

Candidates should be organized, guest-focused, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior OpenTable or Toast experience is a plus; we offer benefits and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and a friendly, energetic demeanor.
• Team player attitude with flexibility for schedule.
• Experience with restaurant POS systems (OpenTable or Toast) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and seat at tables or bar.
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations.
• Understand menu items and ingredients.
• Communicate with servers and support staff.

We have created an energetic environment where fans can come together to share their passion for sports over a bite and a beer.About the role:We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and organized Hosts to join our restaurant team. The host is the first person to interact with guests, and it is essential that the host is friendly, informative, and professional. This position will report directly to the Front of House Manager/Supervisor.Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):Welcome guests and seat at tables or bar.Answer menu questions and make food and drink recommendations.A solid understanding of our menu and ingredients of dishes/cocktails.Communicate with servers and support staff.Confirm reservations and answer questions.Taking to-go orders over the phone to complete guest check-out in-store.Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Customer service skillsTeam player attitudeFlexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidaysOpen Table Experience is a plus, but training will be provided.Toast Experience is a plus, but training will be providedWorking Conditions and Physical Effort:Work is performed in a typical restaurant environment.Will lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds using safe and proper lifting methods.Benefits:Our benefits vary depending on the position which you are hired for.
