Job Summary

The Host serves as the first point of contact for restaurant guests and plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and organized dining experience. This position is responsible for managing guest flow, coordinating seating, and supporting front‑of‑house operations. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of the restaurant
• Manage and update reservations using the Toast POS system
• Coordinate guest seating and manage wait times effectively
• Control guest flow and communicate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
• Provide accurate information about menus, dining options, and the restaurant
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
• Reset tables and assist with bussing as needed
• Support servers and team members during peak service times

• Assist with updating menus and maintaining presentation materials

Compensation & Benefits

Employee Housing On‑site housing is available for $10.50 per day. Rooms are double or triple occupancy. Amenities include shared common areas with TV, Wi‑Fi, dining space, and an exercise area. Housing also includes private bathrooms, laundry facilities, staff‑prepared lunch and dinner, and a self‑serve continental breakfast (oatmeal, cereal, fruit, etc.).
