The host is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly and courteous manner, following Omni standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests by finding available tables, pulling out chairs, and providing menus.
• Answer phone calls and record reservations for large parties.
• Manage outside high-volume periods.
• Monitor dining room for seating, service, safety, and guest well-being.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank guests upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them well.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience as a host in a similar setting.
• Knowledge of OpenTable preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
• Stand or walk for extended periods.
