Job summary

DDRC is seeking compassionate individuals, couples, and families to become Host Home Providers for adults with IDD in Colorado. You would welcome someone into your home, supporting independence, daily living, and community involvement, creating a meaningful partnership.

We are urgently seeking wheelchair-accessible homes in Jefferson County. Compensation ranges from $1,800 to $7,250+ per month based on assessed needs.

Qualifications

• Age 21+.
• Own or rent a home meeting HUD, CDPHE, and DDRC standards.
• Provide a private bedroom.
• Pass background checks.
• Complete required training.
• Maintain contractually required insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stable, welcoming home.
• Offer a private bedroom and shared living space.
• Support daily living activities based on individual needs.
• Encourage independence, choice, and self-determination.
• Assist with personal care, routines, medication support, meals, household tasks, community engagement, skill-building, and transportation.
