Job summary

DDRC is seeking compassionate individuals, couples, and families to become Host Home Providers for adults with IDD in Jefferson County. A home is more than four walls—it's safety, connection, and belonging.

Compensation ranges from $1,800 to $7,250+ per month based on the resident's assessed needs. Providers receive initial and ongoing training, dedicated case management, and access to respite resources to support success.

Qualifications

• Age 21+.
• Own or rent a home meeting HUD, CDPHE, and DDRC standards.
• Provide a private bedroom for a resident.
• Pass background checks.
• Complete required training.
• Maintain contractually required insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stable, welcoming home for an adult with IDD.
• Offer a private bedroom and shared living space.
• Support daily living activities based on individual needs.
• Encourage independence, choice, and self-determination.
• Assist with personal care, routines, medication support, meals, household tasks, and transportation.
