HOST HOME PROVIDER POSITION

We seek experienced Host Home Providers willing to open their homes to individuals who can no longer live independently and prefer a home setting over a communal environment. Providers share their homes and lives, offering a private bedroom, hands-on support, and ongoing daily care. You can help individuals with medical concerns or behavioral challenges and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Join Support Inc. and receive training to help these individuals thrive.

HHP Provider Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including hygiene, meals, and dressing
• Assist with employment coaching
• Organize recreational activities to promote social development
• Include clients in family activities
• Accompany clients to outings such as supermarkets, parks, and events
• Provide transportation as needed
• Assist with medical care, appointments, and medication administration
• Document progress and medical records
• Train clients on life skills

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Criminal and motor vehicle background checks clearance
• Training in Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, with ongoing training
• At least 1 year of experience as a host home provider
• Preferably experienced with behavioral needs
• Experience with medical needs (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, RNs) is a plus
