Host Home Provider Position

We seek experienced Host Home Providers willing to open their homes and foster individuals who can no longer live independently and prefer not to reside in a communal setting. Providers share their homes and lives, offering a private bedroom, hands-on support, and ongoing daily care. You can make a meaningful difference, especially for those with medical or behavioral challenges, by becoming part of their lives and your family. HHP Provider Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with hygiene care, meal prep, and dressing
  • Provide employment coaching to help clients find jobs
  • Organize recreational activities for social development
  • Include clients in family activities and outings
  • Transport clients to various locations such as supermarkets, parks, and events
  • Assist with medical appointments and medication administration
  • Maintain documentation of progress notes and medical records
  • Train clients on life skills
Qualifications for Success
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Pass criminal and motor vehicle background checks
  • Complete training in Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and maintain ongoing training
  • At least 1 year of experience as a host home provider
  • Experience with behavioral needs is preferred
  • Experience with medical needs (e.g., CNAs, LPNs, RNs) is preferred
