Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Host-Cashier to be the first point of contact for guests, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating and waitlists. You will rely on excellent communication and multitasking to support a fast-paced restaurant flow.

In this role, you will greet guests, inform them about menus, coordinate with servers and management, and maintain a clean host stand. Prior experience isn’t required, but strong customer service skills are essential for

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Host-Cashier is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Creates a welcoming atmosphere and greets guests with a friendly and professional demeaner.
• Manage waitlists or reservations and seating assignments to ensure a smooth service flow.
• Provide menus and be informative to guests.
• Communicate with servers and management regarding table availability and guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and entrance area.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Certificate(s) or License(s): None
• Years of experience: 0

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Multitasking & organization to manage reservations, waitlists and seating flow.
• Problem-solving to handle guest concerns, special requests, and unexpected issues with ease.
