Job summary

White Lodging, a premier hospitality company, seeks a friendly Host to welcome guests and ensure a smooth dining experience at one of its properties in Texas. You will guide servers, assist with reservations, and maintain a polished entry to support a seamless guest journey.

Ideal candidates are personable, communicative, and service-driven, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality and friendly demeanor.
• Excellent verbal and listening communication skills.
• Passion for service with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to handle high-volume service and work under pressure.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and ensure a seamless dining experience.
• Effectively assign servers to sections and manage reservations.
• Maintain the restaurant entryway and complete side work and cleaning tasks.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a friendly, safe work environment.
• Present a neat, professional appearance as an ambassador of the establishment.
• Know menu items, contents, prep methods, and garnishes; answer questions accurately.
• Process all payment methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
