As a Host/Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Organizational and people skills are essential to ensure our guests have the best dining experience from arrival to departure. A positive attitude and commitment to creating a memorable experience are vital.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests upon entry
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Assist with to-go orders by phone and ensure correct items are received
• Answer calls and address customer inquiries
• Escort guests to dining or bar areas, provide menus, and announce Food Server's name
• Coordinate and assist wait staff
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests requiring extra attention (e.g., children, elderly)
• Greet guests upon departure
• Uphold TRAPCHK core values

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or Food Server
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask
• High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus
• Washington State Food Worker Card (required before first day)

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Stand, walk, reach, lift, twist, and crouch during shifts
