Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, NV is seeking a Host/Cashier for the Manhattan Deli. You will greet guests, seat them promptly, answer calls, and manage reservations with a smile.

As part of a fast-paced team, you will count and ring in guests, manage wait lists, and handle payments with accurate cash handling. A POS system is used, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6 months of cash handling experience or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced guest-facing environment.
• Strong interpersonal communication and guest service orientation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in transactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
• Basic math skills for transactions and changes.
• Knowledge of proper phone etiquette.
• Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests upon arrival and manage seating arrangements.
• Count and ring in guests and manage the wait list and reservations.
• Answer phones and handle inquiries and take reservations.
• Handle payments with accurate cash handling and upsell beverages.
• Maintain clean register area and uphold cash handling standards.

We are currently accepting applications for talented and guest service-oriented individuals to join our Manhattan Deli team. Host/Cashiers greet and seat guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently with a smile. Monitor door/podium at all times to ensure prompt seating of guests. Answer phones and take reservations. Take payments from Guests and ensure proper cash handling techniques. Ability to communicate with Guests and members of management staff. Must conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image. Full time varied shift available.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat all guests upon their arrival.
• Count and ring in all guests.
• Clean register and entrance area.
• Seat guests meeting their desire for a booth or a table while taking into account proper station rotation.
• Manage wait list, taking into account any reservations.
• Answer phones.
• Decrease expenses through proper handling of product.
• Increase revenue through proper upselling of beer, wine, and alcohol.
• Know, understand and follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist guests with all needs while exceeding their expectations.
• Keep supervisor informed of all guest concerns and comments at all times.
• Show willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude.
• Other duties as assigned my management.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel crouch or crawl; talk, and hear. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.
