White Lodging at JW Marriott Indianapolis is seeking a hospitality team member to greet guests, seat guests, and assist with reservations. You will maintain a positive dining environment, answer menu questions, and process payments while presenting a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or food & beverage service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and listening skills required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volume.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction with the dining experience.
• Assign servers to sections, manage reservations, and seat guests at tables.
• Maintain the restaurant entryway and complete side work and cleaning tasks.
• Promote teamwork and create a friendly, safe work environment.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance as an ambassador of the establishment.
• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Process all payment methods and perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction with the dining experience.
• Effectively assign servers to sections, manage reservations, and seat guests at tables.
• Maintain the restaurant entryway and complete necessary side work and cleaning tasks.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes, accurately answering any guest questions.
• Process all payment methods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
