Overview

Come join Team Atlantis! The Host/Cashier is responsible for greeting and seating guests pleasantly, quickly, and efficiently with a smile. Monitor door/podium at all times to ensure prompt seating of guests. Take payments from guests and ensure proper cash handling techniques. Must have the ability to effectively communicate with guests and management staff. Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.

Shift: Days

Responsibilities

1. Greet and seat all guests upon arrival; count and ring in all guests.
2. Answer phones.
3. Finalize all transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Maintain cleanliness of cashier areas.
5. Increase departmental revenue through upselling beer, wine, and alcohol.
6. Decrease expenses through proper handling of products.
7. Clean entrance area.
8. Follow all company and departmental policies and procedures.
9. Keep supervisor informed of guest concerns and comments.
10. Ensure guest satisfaction with a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
