Job Title: Host & Cashier at Peppermill Resort Spa Casino

Position Overview: The Host & Cashier will provide guests with effective, efficient, and friendly service to ensure their return visit.

Duties:

• Sincerely greet each guest.
• Make eye contact with guests.
• Know the script and hours/days of operation.
• Complete pre, running, and post-shift side work requirements.
• Seat guests in the proper order of arrival.
• Determine guest needs, provide information on seating status, take names, and quote wait times accurately.
• Understand the Pro Host seating system.
• Know all table numbers and the various sections of the restaurant.
• Understand the tending functions of the POS system.
• Be knowledgeable of all coupons and specials.
• Maintain a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and employees.
• Use a calculator and balance a bank with high accuracy.
• Genuinely thank guests.
• Adhere to appearance and uniform standards.
• Follow all internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous hosting experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old, depending on the restaurant.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 15 lbs to chest level and stand for long periods.
