Job summary

Max Burger in Avon, CT is seeking a friendly Host to join the opening team. You will greet guests, manage reservations, coordinate seating, and assist with to-go orders while delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Host or guest-facing role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage dining room reservations and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with to-go orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Provide special services for diners celebrating special occasions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely seating and delivery of excellent guest experiences.
• Assist with event coordination and special requests as directed by management.
• Contribute to a positive environment by working well with the team and providing excellent service.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• Prior experience as a Host or in a guest-facing role is preferred
• Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable is a plus
