Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Sandusky, OH, is seeking a friendly B-Lux Host to welcome dining guests, escort them to tables, and ensure a smooth seating flow during shifts.

You will present menus, announce servers, coordinate with team members, and handle phone inquiries with our courteous tone. Bi-lingual skills are preferred; full-time, on-site role with growth opportunities within our hospitality family.

Qualifications

• General food and beverage knowledge, involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations, is preferred.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale and phone system.
• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not required.

• Call out name and number of party when tables become available in a courteous and friendly manner with a pleasant, professional, and clear tone of voice.

• Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (servers, bussers, co-host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
• Answer telephone with the proper Kalahari Resort verbiage.

Host – B-Lux Grill and Bar

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a B-Lux Host. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a warm and friendly greeting with a smile and responsive service for all dining guests. You will manage the efficiency and timeliness of seating guests to their tables with their wishes in mind.

As part of our team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Starting Rate: $14.00 an hour
