13 Coins Restaurant in Washington is seeking a friendly Host to be the first point of contact for guests. You will warmly welcome arrivals, manage the wait list, and coordinate seating to ensure smooth service and a positive start to each dining experience.

You will provide menu information, answer inquiries, assist staff, maintain a tidy front desk, take to-go orders by phone, and uphold high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage wait list and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times.
• Provide guests with information about menu items, specials offered.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a courteous manner.
• Answer incoming telephone calls.
• Set and clear tables if needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized desk area.
• Perform restroom check every 30 minutes to maintain cleanliness.
• Perform phone “to go” orders.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge of food and beverage service.

Benefits:

• Paid time off, 1 hour per every 40 hours worked up to year 3; 1.54 hours per every 40 hours worked thereafter; eligible after 90 days.
• Holiday Pay: Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day paid 1.5 times base wage if worked, based on eligibility.
