Overview

Opportunity: Host

Greet and escort guests to restaurant tables following established guest service and sustainability standards.

Open Interviews

Join our open interview sessions on Sundays and Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. for all available hourly positions. Park in the Green Street Garage; parking validation provided. Upon entering the hotel, proceed to the restaurant and ask for Suzanne.

Your Growth Path

Food Server or Guest Service Agent → Restaurant Supervisor or Front Office Supervisor

Your Focus

• Meet and greet guests, offer seating options, escort to tables, and present menus.
• Maintain and update the daily log book for shift communication.
• Ensure proper setup of the dining area.
• Assist with service as needed.
• Manage reservations and special functions records and arrangements.
• Follow sustainability practices aligned with HHM’s EarthView program.
• Adhere to safety protocols, wear protective gear, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Your Background and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Variable work schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, lift up to 30 pounds, and perform physical tasks like bending, reaching, and stooping.
