Position Summary:

Anthony’s Restaurants owns and operates a family of restaurants in locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. Anthony’s is proud of its continuing commitment to quality and value, which has made it the place for fresh Northwest seafood throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Job Duties:

1. Greets guests upon arrival, escorts them to their table, provides menu, wine list, and highlights best-of-season specialties.
2. Maximizes guest seating and table turns, ensuring a smooth flow of the restaurant, including proper section rotation.
3. Manages special seating requests consistent with availability.
4. Relays messages to servers or server assistants as appropriate.
5. Answers telephone, gives directions to restaurant, addresses questions, and takes reservations and messages.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
2. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
3. Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
4. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other Team Members.
5. Must possess excellent guest relations skills.

Other Job Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous lead host(ess) experience in a high-volume, fine dining restaurant preferred.

Physical Requirements: Able to stand and walk quickly for periods of up to four hours. Able to lift up to 20 pounds.

Wage & Benefits Offered:

$16.66 - $16.66 Hourly + Tips

Full time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account while those who maintain 20 hours can choose to enroll in dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet Insurance. Employees are enrolled in the company’s 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after one year of employment. Sick Leave is available for all front of house employees and accrued at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
