Job Summary

• Answer telephone to provide callers with directions, hours of operation, to go orders, etc.
• Answer questions guests have regarding our products or services
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and countertops following standard procedures to ensure sanitized drinking and eating surfaces
• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor while working in a loud, high-volume environment

Responsibilities

• Reflects positively on the company and its staff
• Communicates with all guests in a congenial manner
• Communicates with all Managers regarding operational issues concerning service quality, cleanliness, and efficiency
• Ensures timely completion of operational deadlines and adherence to standards set forth in the Host Training Manual
• Identifies areas of need within the beverage service and dining area and corrects problems
• Communicates the company’s marketing efforts to guests
• Contributes to positive staff morale
• Assists in staff training and development in the service area
• Ensures safety and security of the restaurant and staff by following safety procedures
• Ensures guest safety by adhering to the Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy
• Treats all guests and staff with dignity and respect

Qualifications

• Availability on Sundays on a rotating basis
• Ability to move items up to 30 lbs over distances of up to 25 feet
• Ability to stand and stay active for up to an 8-hour shift, including going up and down stairs
