Job Title: Host/Hostess

This position is for a pool of applicants for several locations.

Reports To: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Description:

At Kumori our Hosts greet and welcome guests’ first, they do this with a smile to leave a warm and lasting impression. Our host team members are responsible for creating a warm and friendly environment and to ensure our guests have a wonderful and memorable customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Consistently evaluates premises for cleanliness in accordance with Kumori Standards.
• Always greet customers, guests, visitors with a smile.
• Maintains a neat, clean and organized front-of-house environment.
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Accurately uses and balance cash registers.
• Maintain cash control over register drawer and verify amounts are correct.
• Always follows and maintains safety and health procedures.
• Other duties assigned.

• Values teamwork and understands the importance of serving and helping others.

Physical Requirements

• Remain on your feet for several hours at a time.
