Title: HostDepartment: OperationsReports To: Concept ManagerStatus: Non-exemptBroad Functions: Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival. Manage the efficientand timely seating of guests to a table that best serves their wishes and needs.Main Duties and Responsibilities:1. Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.2. When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant.3. When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people inparty.4. Call out name and number of party when tables become available.5. Provide guests with estimated waiting time.6. Clean tables before seating of each guests.7. Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible.8. Seat guest guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow inservice stations.9. Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server’s name. Inspecttable for proper presentation and completeness.10. Keep accurate guess count to ensure proper and efficient seating rotation.11. Relay messages to servers and bus persons as needed.12. Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.13.
