Job summary

OTG Management at LaGuardia Airport is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, maintain a clean front door, and provide menu knowledge. You will help keep the dining area organized and support servers during busy periods.

The ideal candidate speaks fluent English, can stand for extended periods, and is available for varied hours, including nights and weekends. OTG offers a dynamic, guest-focused environment at busy airports.

Qualifications

• Must know the restaurant’s menu and floor plan.
• Must be fully conversational in English.
• Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days, nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at the entrance of our establishments.
• Maintain a clean and orderly front door area
• Maintain a solid product knowledge
• Evenly manage the workload between servers
• Aid servers, when necessary while maintaining a watchful eye on the entrance to the restaurant
• Communicate guest concerns and complaints to managers immediately
• Maintain a clean, neat, well-groomed appearance
• Maintain knowledge of airport, terminal, and restaurants; offer information, recommendations, etc.
