Job summary

Workstream in Ohio is seeking friendly restaurant hosts to manage seating, greet guests, and maintain table layouts throughout shifts. You will explain seating options, assist To Go guests by car service, and operate handheld payment devices as needed while staying composed under pressure.

Candidates should be team players with good math and communication skills, able to lift 30 lbs, and stand, bend, and move all day.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage restaurant layout, and ensure tables are cleared and reset.

• To Go responsibilities include serving guests in cars and assisting regular Hosts as needed.
• Operate handheld payment devices and handle cash when necessary.

Job description

He / She will look after the restaurant layout and make sure tables are cleared and reset. He/she greets each guest with a warm smile and a welcome, explain clearly and direct our customers to designated seating system, and is also in charge of communicating volume levels to Management and Staff.

• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
• Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
• Will be required to enter and exit building numerous times to service To Go Guests in their cars
• Must be able to operate handheld payment devises and cash when necessary
• Be able to multi-task and assist regular Hosts as needed
