Job summary

The Arbor Day Foundation's Arbor Day Farm in Nebraska City seeks a friendly Host to welcome guests, take reservations, and contribute to a hospitality-driven guest experience.

You’ll work Friday/Saturday 5PM-10PM or Saturday/Sunday 8AM-3PM, reporting to the Restaurant Manager and collaborating with Timbers and Culinary teams to deliver memorable events and service.

Your Support System:

You’ll report to our Restaurant Manager.

You’ll collaborate with leaders and team members across the property, including Timbers and Culinary.

How We Work:

Location: Nebraska City, Nebraska – Arbor Day Farm Campus

Schedule: Friday/Saturday - 5PM-10PM OR Saturday/Sunday - 8AM-3PM

Our campus is guest-centered and hospitality-driven. Many roles require flexibility to support weddings, conferences, seasonal festivals, and signature events. We work hard, support each other, and believe if we’re going to do something — it’s worth doing well.

What You’ll Do:

• Be a part of a fast-paced work environment. You are energized by a full restaurant, abuzz with guests, eating, drinking, and loving life.
• Have good customer contact. You will greet guests as they enter, take reservations, give menus, answer questions, and direct guests to their seats. Engage customers' satisfaction with service and food and build rapport.
• Work as a team. Be a part of helping us create a fun work environment with teamwork at the forefront to ensure a positive experience for guests.
