Job summary

The Twelve Thirty Club in Nashville, TN is hiring for a Host. This position offers up to $22 per hour and immediate start. You’ll welcome guests, guide them to seats, and help ensure an exceptional dining experience.

As part of our team, you’ll greet guests by name, note preferences, manage waitlists, and coordinate with the dining room to balance flow. We provide benefits including EAP, medical insurance, and partner benefits; performance is valued in a fast-paced, hospitality-forward

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Excellent communication and welcoming demeanor.
• Ability to manage guests and waitlists in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests upon arrival.
• Make guests feel comfortable and attended to.
• Know regular guests by name and note preferences.
• Record party size and wait times; seat guests promptly.
• Seat guests per preferences while balancing flow.
• Present menus and ensure tables look great.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome and greet guests upon arrival
• Make guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them
• Know regular guests by name; know their preferences and needs
• When on a wait, record guest’s name and number of people in party, provide guests with an estimated waiting time, and seat them as soon as possible when a table becomes available
• Seat guests based on guest preferences while balancing of guest flow
• Present guests with a menu when they are seated, and ensure the table looks great and is up to our standards
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
