The James on James Island, SC is seeking a warm, professional Host to be the first and lasting impression for guests. Join a hospitality-driven team in a neighborhood restaurant known for Southern hospitality and guest-focused service.

You will greet guests, manage reservations (OpenTable or Resy), communicate wait times, and seat guests to optimize service flow. The role offers an hourly wage with strong tipping potential and opportunities to grow within a locally operated group.

Qualifications

• Previous host or hospitality experience preferred, but not required.

What You'll Bring

• Friendly, polished, and guest-focused
• Organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable using reservation systems (experience with OpenTable or Resy a plus)
• A team player who communicates clearly and positively
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
