Job Responsibilities of a Host/To-Go:

1. Greeting and Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly when they enter or call to place a to-go order.
   Provide menus, explain specials, or answer questions about the menu and offerings.

2. Managing To-Go Orders: Take orders for pick-up or delivery, ensuring that customers’ requests are clearly noted.
   Double-check all items in the order for accuracy before handing them over to the customer.

3. Organizing Orders: Ensure all items (food, condiments, utensils, etc.) are packed properly and neatly.
   Label orders clearly with the customer’s name, order number, or time of pick-up.

4. Phone Handling: Answer phones promptly, take orders accurately, and assist customers with menu questions.
   Confirm to-go order details (timing, delivery/pick-up options, and payment).

5. Coordinating with Kitchen and Staff: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.
   Manage any special requests (dietary restrictions, preferences) with the kitchen.

6. Payment and Transactions: Process payments, whether in person or over the phone, accurately using the POS system.
   Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment with attention to security and accuracy.

7. Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Ensure timely and accurate orders for both in-house guests and those ordering to-go.
