Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in Los Angeles is hiring immediately for full-time or part-time Host or Hostesses. The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant and providing a positive first and last impression to every guest.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, seating, answering questions, and quoting accurate wait times. Training is provided; prior experience is not required.

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders)
• Uphold high safety and sanitation standards by performing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control
• Learn restaurant seating layout and how tables are divided into server areas
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations
• Conducts side-work as required for each shift

P.F. Chang’s Pay Range (based on experience): $18.50 - $21.50 / hour

Job Summary:

They provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. In the event there is a wait time, quote an accurate wait time and answer any questions the guest may have.
