Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro is hiring immediately for full-time or part-time Host or Hostesses. The Host delivers an excellent hospitality experience by managing the restaurant flow and providing a positive first and last impression to guests.

When there is a wait, you quote the time and answer guests’ questions to ensure a smooth seating experience. The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required – on-the-job training provided.
• Excellent customer service and etiquette.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders)
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations
• Conducts side-work as required for each shift

P.F. Chang’s Pay Range (based on experience): $18.00 - $21.00 / hour

Job Summary:

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. They provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. In the event there is a wait time, quote an accurate wait time and answer any questions the guest may have.
