Base pay range

$12.00/hr - $14.00/hr

PJs famous wings are a community tradition that has built loyal customers and true fans.

Must Have KEY Personalities:

• Stay “calm, cool, and collected”. Your composure and ability to handle pressure in a high-volume atmosphere will keep guests coming back.
• Our ideal employee is a leader in every sense. You MUST be responsible and confident in your role and duties.

Host Responsibilities:

• Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
• Open the front door for guests entering and leaving when possible.
• Record guest names and party size when immediate seating is limited.
• Provide guests with estimated waiting times.
• Call out name and party number when tables are ready.
• Seat guests based on preferences and manage customer flow.
• Offer menus and inform guests of their server’s name upon seating. Check table presentation.
• Relay messages to servers and bussers as needed.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Maintain a clean and organized hostess station.
• Ensure the entrance area is clean and free of trash.
• Check bathrooms for cleanliness and supplies every two hours during the day and hourly from 5:00 pm to close.
• Use POS system for sales data and Hot Schedules for scheduling and communication.
• Read all messages from Management via Hot Schedules before each shift.

Host Qualifications:

• No previous restaurant experience required.
• A positive attitude and the ability to warmly welcome guests.
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 5 hours).
