Job description

The Hostess is expected to answer/return calls, maintain wait-list using Toast Tables, greet, and seat guests in an upbeat and hospitable manner.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of Imagine One Hospitality style, practices, culture, terminology, organizational structure, and general philosophy.
• Offer guests of the restaurant a personalized experience.
• Answer phones according to Imagine One Hospitality standards and provide information regarding the restaurant or any other restaurant service.
• Develop a complete working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and what is available for the day.
• Know the server stations, their daily assignments, their personal timing patterns and maximum workload capacity.
• Maintain a friendly yet unobtrusive manner with all guests when greeting them, seating them, and throughout their dining experience.
• Anticipate guests' needs by constantly scanning the room and picking up cues from facial expression, body language, and demeanor.
