Position Overview:

As a Host at Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, you’ll be an integral part of ensuring that our guests have a warm, welcoming, and unforgettable experience from the moment they walk in. Your enthusiasm, passion for customer service, and attention to detail will set the stage for a memorable visit to our pizzeria.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm and inviting demeanor as they arrive at the pizzeria.
• Guide guests to their tables and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized seating plan, optimizing table turnover and enhancing the dining experience.
• Manage reservations and oversee the waiting list, providing accurate wait time estimates.
• Work closely with the restaurant staff to ensure a smooth and efficient seating process.
• Answer phone calls, address guest inquiries, and assist with reservations in a professional and friendly manner.
• Keep the reception area and waiting area clean, well-organized, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of our woodfired pizza menu, including specials and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure any guest concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
• Participate in creating an inviting atmosphere in the pizzeria, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Qualifications:

• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• A Valid Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness Certificate
