Position Overview

As a Dishwasher at Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, you are an essential part of our kitchen brigade. Your diligence, commitment to cleanliness, and dedication to your work will directly impact the quality of our food and the overall dining experience we provide to our guests. You’ll be part of a team that values your contribution and works together to deliver excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, ensuring that all utensils, dishes, and kitchen equipment are washed, sanitized, and ready for use.
• Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely, following all cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in the proper disposal of kitchen waste and recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support the flow of dishes and utensils for smooth food preparation.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the kitchen manager or supervisor.
• Support other kitchen duties as needed during busy periods, fostering a sense of teamwork.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Work in a responsible and efficient manner to minimize dishwashing and kitchen downtime.
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment that values teamwork and collaboration.

Job Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
• A Valid Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness Certificate
