Job summary

We Are Amazing is seeking a friendly host for Bagelmania Convention in Las Vegas, NV. Morning and daytime hours are required, with a focus on greeting guests, updating them on wait times, and guiding seating to balance flow.

You will answer calls, help with reservations, and coordinate with servers and bartenders to maintain a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Bi-lingual a plus.
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.
• Sense of urgency and prioritization.
• Must obtain a SNHD Food handlers card and Alcohol Awareness card.

Position Type: Part Time

We are looking for a friendly host to welcome guests to the famous Bagelmania! This role requires morning/daytime hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Warmly greet all guests upon arrival.
• Keep guests updated on wait times, available seating, and their places in the queue.
• Answer incoming calls from guests, providing accurate information for restaurant related questions.
• Make guest reservations, or large party reservations, where applicable.
• Seat guests based on guest preference and balancing of customer flow in service stations.
• Accommodate special seating requests when possible.
• Provide guests with menus, ensure table is properly set, provide server’s name, and the diligence of willingness to help.
• Communicate with servers, bussers, and bartenders as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage and entry areas.
• Thank guests as they leave, invite them to return.
• Abide by company policies regarding food service.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Must be 18 years of age of older
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.
