The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is seeking a reliable Host/Support Staff to help keep the bar and restaurant running smoothly in downtown Asheville, NC. This is a full-time, hourly role with tips, requiring early mornings and weekend availability.

You will greet guests, manage guest flow with Resy, assist bartenders and servers, stock and prep areas, and help with closing duties. Benefits include PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, and hotel employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hospitality/restaurant preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep restaurant area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment.
• Greet each guest with enthusiasm and a warm, welcoming manner.
• Use an I-Pad with Resy reservation system to record guest wait times, reservations and seating rotations during service.
• Light side work as needed to support the team.
• Answer the phone and take in-room dining and to go orders.
• Keep track of FOH inventory and inform management when supplies are running low.
• Assist with closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning the host station area.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/ Support Staff at The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection. in this role, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficient operation of our bar and restaurant by assisting bartenders & servers with stocking and preparing the restaurant & lounge bar area. This is a full-time, hourly position plus tip out in the hospitality/restaurant industry located in beautiful downtown Asheville, North Carolina.

• - Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects on a regular basis.
