Job summary

The Wilkinson Firm is seeking a Hospitality Training Manager to lead our internal training curriculum and transform our Gold Shield Certification into a profitable external training product. This hybrid role involves a unique combination of training development and execution, requiring experienced professionals with a strong background in hospitality training and curriculum.

Job description

Engagement: Hybrid 1099 contract. Comp: $75-150/hr engaged for internal training + 20-30% profit share on external Gold Shield certification sales. Location: Remote with Southeast travel. Reports to: Director of Hospitality Operations.

About The Wilkinson Firm

TWF's Premium Hospitality and Event Staffing division runs captain-led, W-2 teams at hotels, venues, caterers, and corporate events. Our Gold Shield Certification is the brand promise our clients buy. We need a Hospitality Training Manager who can own our internal training curriculum AND productize Gold Shield Certification into an external revenue stream we can sell to other hospitality firms.

Who we want

Hospitality training and L&D professionals with 8+ years experience. Former hotel F&B leaders, banquet directors, or convention center ops leaders who transitioned to training and curriculum work. AHLEI Certified Hospitality Educator, ATD Master Trainer, or equivalent credential a plus.

What you would do

• Own the Captain School curriculum across all TWF markets
• Train new banquet captains, event leads, and shift supervisors
• Maintain Gold Shield Certification standards across markets
• Build external Gold Shield training products that can be sold to other hospitality firms as B2B training license
• Deliver client-facing training engagements (hotel teams, catering operators, venue staff)

Compensation

$75-150/hr for internal training work. 20-30% profit share on external Gold Shield certification sales (B2B training revenue from outside hospitality firms). The productization side has $100K-$500K annual recurring revenue potential.
