Job summary

The Dollywood Company is seeking a Housekeeping Trainer for Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort. This full-time, year-round role focuses on creating and delivering housekeeping training, safety, and chemical compliance programs for guest rooms, public spaces, and staff, ensuring top-level quality and a positive work environment.

You will supervise inspectors, coordinate with supervisors and the Executive Housekeeper, and drive continuous improvement while upholding Dollywood’s Lead with Love

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least 1-year experience as a room inspector or supervisor in hotel/hospitality.
• High school diploma required, college preferred.
• A work history that demonstrates supervisory skills to include verbal and written communication, leadership, planning, and organizing.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license, proof of auto liability insurance and acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement housekeeping training program with safety and chemical compliance in mind.
• Conduct departmental and on-the-job training of housekeeping staff and maintain a log on all hosts from hire date through tenure.
• Create score boards for spot audits and inspections and maintain log and record.
• Supervise floor inspectors to ensure high quality of unit cleanliness and SOP compliance.
• Assist supervisors in supervising hosts and ensuring a positive work environment.
• Motivate, coach and counsel hosts for excellence and continual improvement.
• Inspect overall cleanliness and condition of rooms and identify quality problems.
• Inspect all electronics in rooms and report issues to maintenance.
• Manage annual room deep-clean and inventory processes.
• Evaluate cleaning systems and supplies and manage inventory.
