Job summary

Oak & Stone is seeking a friendly server to join our busy restaurant team in Florida. The role involves learning our full menu, taking and ringing orders into a POS, serving beverages and food, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.

Applicants should have at least one year of serving experience in a fast-paced setting, be able to verify guests' ages for alcohol, and maintain clean, well-groomed appearances.

Qualifications

• Maintains knowledge of Oak & Stone food and beverage menus and preparation.
• Takes orders for alcoholic (age 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages and food items.
• Uses a computer to ring orders into a POS.
• Suggestively sells and serves food and drinks from three to five tables as directed by management.
• Checks identification to ensure legal age for alcohol.
• Maintains cleanliness and performs assigned side-work.
• Presents a neat, clean uniform and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of menus and preparation.
• Take and relay orders for drinks and food.
• Ring orders into POS and handle payment.
• Provide friendly, fast service across multiple tables.
• Verify guest ages for alcohol and refuse service when needed.
• Refill drinks and maintain table cleanliness.
• Perform side-work and assist with station setup and breakdown.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction and report issues to management.
