Job summary

Farmers Restaurant Group is hiring Food Runners/Bussers to support front-of-house service, transport food and drinks from kitchen to tables, and keep dining areas prepared.

You will respond to guest requests with hospitality, set up tables, assist servers, clear tables, and maintain cleanliness. This role offers tips and opportunities for career growth within a growing farmer-owned restaurant company.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of bending, stooping, reaching, twisting and use of hands and arms.
• 18 years or older due to service of alcohol (implicit).

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests with hospitality.
• Set up tables for meals with linens, silverware, and glassware.
• Deliver food and drinks from kitchen and bar to guest tables.
• Assist service staff by clearing dishes and taking them to the dishwasher.
• Clean tables and counters; reset for next guests.
• Keep silverware and linens ready and stocked.
• Prepare dining areas for large parties and brunch buffets.
• Ensure condiments are clean and full.
• Perform cleaning duties (sweeping, vacuuming, tidying server station, take out trash).
• Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Stock service areas with supplies like coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
