Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to maintain financial integrity for a portfolio of hospitality properties and investment entities. You will manage monthly close, prepare GAAP-based statements, and support budgeting, audits, and tax coordination.

You will collaborate with Controllers, property teams, operations, and ownership to translate complex activity into timely, actionable financial information and drive process improvements across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hospitality, real estate, property accounting, or multi-entity experience preferred.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close for multiple entities.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting experience.
• Proven ability to prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and audit schedules.
• Able to analyze operating results and translate data into insights.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close for hotels, properties, and entities.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger activity.
• Produce GAAP-based financial statements and schedules.
• Develop owner-ready reporting packages with explanations of results.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and variances.
• Ensure records comply with policies and internal controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Coordinate external audits and tax compliance with advisors.
• Monitor deadlines and resolve accounting issues with stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
