Job summary

Metropolitan State University of Denver is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Day Leadership Academy within the School of Hospitality. The role supports DLA leadership, coordinates programming, and engages with Denver's hospitality community.

Hybrid work options are available with some in-person requirements. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a related field, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or ongoing enrollment in hospitality, marketing, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation across the Denver Metro area.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and tools to create newsletters.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing coordination and evaluation of DLA programs and services.
• Assist with creation, coordination, and dissemination of outreach and communications.
• Collect, organize, enter, and maintain program data; assist with evaluation and reporting.
• Coordinate event logistics for seminars, speaker series, conferences, and other DLA programs.
• Track course timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Support marketing, outreach, recruitment, and enrollment efforts.
• Manage invitations, newsletters, and RSVP/registration lists.
• Assist with event logistics, registrations, materials, and post-evaluations.
