Hyatt Place Fairbanks, managed by Northwest x Southern Hospitality, is interviewing candidates for an Operations Manager role. You will oversee daily hotel operations and coordinate F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering to improve productivity and guest experiences. This position requires evening/night shifts and weekend work.

We value leadership and a hospitality background, with 1+ year experience preferred. Strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; hospitality degree preferred.
• Able to work night and weekends.
• 1+ year hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous supervisor or manager experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven customer service experience as a manager; guest-focused mentality.
• State Alcohol Certification required or ability to obtain one.
• State Food Handlers required or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct hotel operations to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Support F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering departments.
• Work evening/night shifts and weekends.
